Baker, who lives in Greenwich, Connecticu t, is the chairman and CEO of National Realty and Developmen t Corporatio n. Mack lives in New York City and is founder and chairman of Apollo Real Estate Advisors. In 1996 Mack, Baker, and David Cornstein partnered on colt that trainer D. Wayne Lukas bought at sale for them called Grand Slam. Grand Slam went on to win a pair of Grade I races would later go on to run second in the 1998 Breeders Cup Sprint. Mack and Baker are managing partners in Grand Slam Farm, LLC, which retained a large portion of ownership in stallions Grand Slam and Proud Citizen, who stand at Ashford Stud and Airdire Stud. Mack and Baker currently maintain a partnershi p with horses in Lukas stable. Dublin was a Keeneland September purchase for 525,000 and went on to win the Hopeful at Saratoga for Mack and Baker, and put his name in the mix as a Kentucky Derby contender. Mack and Baker also campaigned Flying Private on last years Triple Crown, running in all three jewels. His best finish came in the Preakness where he ran.
