Our experienced editor
Jamie Clark is the more senior member of the HorseBetting.com team, having first started writing about horse racing for his local newspaper 20 years ago. However, Jamie soon recognised that print journalism was not necessarily the key to the future of covering the sport. He started writing online back in the days when LiveJournal was a thing, covering the latest races and giving tips to his small-but-dedicated group of followers.
Over time Jamie has taken his insights – honed over years of fascination with horse racing, as well as his experience working at racing yards in his youth – across a variety of different platforms. Twitter, Facebook, and even Tumblr have hosted his horse racing speculations and thoughts, so he was a natural choice to head up our coverage on HorseBetting.com. While Jamie contributes across a range of different content types of the site, he is particularly skilled at finding the hidden value in our betting tip coverage.
Even when he isn’t working, Jamie’s life continues to revolve around horses: both of his daughters have their own, so Jamie’s spare time is usually spent playing taxi back and forth from the yard. When he does have a moment to himself, Jamie is working on a novel he’s certain will never see the light of day, but which he enjoys writing regardless.
