Our SBK reviews began by downloading the brand’s app direct to a smartphone. The SBK app is available for iOS and Android devices, and we found that it was remarkably easy to use. This means that you should be able to do all of the standard things like browsing horse racing betting markets, making payments and requesting withdrawals from a smartphone or a tablet.

Some people might find the lack of a standard betting website a little unusual. But we think that SBK has done this so as to focus on its excellent social betting feature. We found that SBK has a good range of respected payment providers you can use to fund your bets. These include big-name brands such as Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. We also noticed that SBK accepts payments from alternative payment providers such as Trustly, Skrill and Neteller. Plus there’s also the option to make regular bank transfer payments to SBK. All payment methods apart from bank transfer allow you to make virtually instant deposits.

The good news is that SBK won’t charge you any processing fees for adding funds to your account, and the same is true for making withdrawals. You should normally be able to make deposits and withdrawals from a minimum of £10 with most payment methods. Withdrawal times vary between under two working days for ewallets to just over a week for bank transfers. All of which should give you the flexibility to find a payment method that works for you.

Our SBK reviews found that the bookie hosts a friendly and responsive customer service team. All that you need to do is to head into the help section and you’ll find a Contact Us tab. Clicking on this reveals an email address that can be used to directly message the brand’s customer service team.

Beyond this, you can also reach the SBK customer care agents via the dedicated Twitter channel, or there is a UK-based customer service telephone number. Just remember that this telephone number can only be used between the hours of 0900 and 0000. There is nothing in the way of a live chat option, but SBK has put together a fairly comprehensive FAQ section. This covers a range of topics and is a good place to come if you need help with anything from verifying your account to clarifying the betting rules.

You won’t have to worry too much about using the SBK UK app. This is because our SBK reviews found that the brand is fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. Such licensing means that you’ll get plenty of customer protection here should something go wrong with your bets. We also liked the fact that SBK UK is part of the Smarkets family which adds a further level of legitimacy to the brand.

But is SBK secure in how it handles your sensitive personal data? We found that the app was well-designed and included all of the encryption technologies that you’d expect. This basically means that any information you transmit to SBK UK via the app will be completely scrambled and unreadable.

Our SBK reviews were also pleased to see that the brand’s app features two-factor authentication. This makes sure that it is only you who can access your betting account. We’re always keen to see what kinds of deals a bookmaker offers its loyal customers. After all, some bookies will give the most steadfast punters access to some kind of reward scheme. Sadly SBK UK is not one of those bookmakers as there is precious little in the way of a reward program here.

But don’t give up on SBK yet. This is because we found no shortage of other promotions in our SBK reviews. OK so most of these were targeted towards the recent Euros football competition, but it was nice to see that SBK was willing to put on some top deals for big sporting events. This means that we’d definitely check out what SBK is offering the next time that Grand National or the Cheltenham Gold Cup comes around.
