Down Royal is one of only two racecourses in Northern Ireland and is situated near Lisburn in County Down. It features a right-handed track, which extends to just over two miles.The course is host to 12 flat and National Hunt race meetings each year. The main events held here are the Ulster Derby and Oaks in June and the Champions Chase, a valuable Grade 1 race that heralds the start of the NH season.
