Triplicate can go one better and land the Grade 1 Future Champions Novice Hurdle (13:50) for trainer Joseph O’Brien.
This five-year-old son of Galileo is two from five over the obstacles and has finished runner-up on his last couple of starts in graded company. With dual conqueror Quick Grabim not in opposition in this, Triplicate arguably brings the best form to the table here.
After winning a maiden hurdle at Galway in August, he then followed-up at the Listowel Harvest Festival where he proved 1 1/4 lengths too good for the re-opposing Aramon. Triplicate also has that one well held on those two subsequent starts in graded races.
As he improved to get nearer Quick Grabim in the Grade 1 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse last time out, this looks a great opening for Triplicate to go one better. Ballyoisin has improved from a handicapper into a graded horse showing he’s effective over this trip and further if need be. Market leader Footpad has never won on such a sound surface and, given that one fell when tired at Naas on reappearance, he has it all to do to bounce back.
Using Ordinary World as a form marker, who has chased both Ballyoisin and Great Field home this year, the selection beat that one by double the distance giving weight away. It gives him serious claims of taking another step up in grade to elite company here.

Trained by Noel Meade, this eight-year-old son of Vinnie Roe is still rated 10lb lower over fences than hurdles as the handicapper waits to have his say.
De Name Escapes Me carries 14lb extra here for an unextended half-a-length victory over Solomn Grundy in the Foxrock at Navan earlier this month, where he was value for more than that winning margin. Considering his hurdles mark of 143, a revised chase rating of 133 for this may not be enough to stop him from going in again.
The front two pulled nine lengths clear of the third home, so the Navan form has a rock-solid look to it. De Name Escapes Me has only won one of his five starts over fences, but looks the best handicapped horse in this fiercely competitive contest.
