Grosvenor has been around since 1970, boasting over 50 land-based casinos throughout the U.K. Launched in 2007, its online casino offers a wide variety of slots, games, live tables, card games, and even sports betting.
Grosvenor is licensed and regulated by the U.K. Gambling Commission and by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Its parent company, The Rank Group, has been a contender in the industry since 1937, and also owns both Mecca Bingo and Enracha.
In our independent Grosvenor reviews, we’ll scrutinize all material aspects of this operator, and see how Grosvenor ratings measure up.
Unfortunately Grosvenor isn’t currently available for US customers, but we’ve taken a look across the pond to see how they operate in the UK. The aim of this review is to give you an idea of what you can expect should Grosvenor’s ever-expanding business reach American shores.
Our Grosvenor reviews found that, while not massive, the Welcome Bonus of £30 is still pretty good value for money. This is because claiming the offers by Grosvenor is much easier to accomplish when compared to competitors. Deposit an amount of £20 or higher to claim your £30 Welcome Bonus.
You’ll need to wager 5x the bonus amount (£20 x 5 = £100) within 30 days before you can cash out your derived winnings. Grosvenor also offers a Sports Betting Bonus of £20 when you deposit £5 and a Poker Bonus of £25 in Tournament tickets when you deposit more than £20.
A new bonus type, called ‘Bonus Plus’, has also recently been added, which is only applicable to certain games and promotions. The variety of bonuses available helped boost our Grosvenor ratings.

Our Grosvenor reviews reveal an impressively sleek and user-friendly interface. You aren’t overwhelmed by flashy graphics, unlike some other online casinos. Grosvenor keeps it simple with a dark turquoise background and bold white lettering. Icons at the top of the page allow you to access your favorite category with a single click.
Favorites are also displayed on the homepage and under each game category. It provides easy instructions to sign up, play games, or place bets when you click on any given category or game. It also explains exactly how the game, or bet, works.
Powered by a host of top software developers like IGT, Playtech, Kambi, and more, and its Live Casino powered by Evolution Gaming, Grosvenor ratings in this regard are justifiably high.
Its mobile apps are no different, with terrific functionality and an easy-to-use interface. It’s no surprise, then, that it bagged the ‘Casino Operator of the Year award’ in 2013.
Sadly, Grosvenor US players will miss out here because there is no dedicated Grosvenor US website or app currently. This seriously affects our Grosvenor ratings.
Although payment methods are somewhat limited, there are still more than enough options. Both deposits and withdrawals can be made using Neteller, Skrill, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Paysafecard.
No fees are charged for deposits or withdrawals, either. However, individual payment methods might incur a charge, so always keep this in mind. Our Grosvenor reviews found that Grosvenor is a secure payment processor for many methods.
The only other exception is that withdrawals can’t be made with some MasterCard cards. So, a bank transfer will need to be done instead (with a £5 fee being applicable in this instance). Grosvenor requires a minimum deposit amount of £5, with a minimum withdrawal amount of £5 also.
Again, these amounts could vary depending on your preferred payment method, so always double-check. Payout times do vary, but our Grosvenor reviews found that you’ll get your winnings between 3 and 7 days, on average. PayPal is most likely the fastest payment option to use.

In our Grosvenor reviews, we were satisfied with the various ways through which users can get customer support. Live help is available on its site 24/7, where you can type in your question or query or speak directly to an online operator. This isn’t available to Grosvenor US players, but there’s a comprehensive FAQ section with answers to most general queries.
A Customer Call Center is also available from 8 am to Midnight, seven days a week, which is a toll-free number to U.K. residents. Alternatively, you can email your queries directly via the site. Grosvenor’s US and players will miss out here though.
Furthermore, Grosvenor has a Live Updates section, which, for example, currently has an update in regards to Covid-19. This only goes to show that Grosvenor is on the ball, and boasts superb service for both the regular and VIP players alike, boosting our Grosvenor ratings. Check out our review for TVG.com US to compare the quality of customer service.
Grosvenor is the largest casino franchise in the U.K. and its parent company, The Rank Group, is even listed on the London Stock Exchange.
All of Grosvenor’s games, policies, and practices are strictly regulated and licensed by both the U.K. Gambling Commission and Alderney Gambling Control Commission.
Moreover, Grosvenor is secured by the industry-leading company, VeriSign. New Players are required to verify both their age and identity when signing up. NetVerify is used to execute this.
Grosvenor is further certified by GamCare and GamStop, and has its own dedicated website for responsible gambling, called ‘Keep it Fun’.
Its bragging rights include Awards such as ‘Casino Operator of the Year’ and ‘Socially Responsible Operator of the Year Land Based.’ What’s more, Evolution Gaming, titleholder of 8 consecutive ‘Live Casino Supplier of the Year’ Awards, is the brawn behind Grosvenor’s Live Casino tables and games.
Clearly, Grosvenor ratings deserve high marks in this respect.
Play Points are earned by making real money bets online, via the app, or at any land-based Grosvenor Casino. Unfortunately, Grosvenor US players can’t reap these rewards, as there’s no dedicated Grosvenor US website. It’s unclear if Grosvenor US will be available in the future.
Once accumulated, Play Points can be redeemed for a bunch of different things. These include awesome gifts, extra spins, betting chips, and more. The earning potential of Play Points varies according to which games on which you’ve placed a wager.
For example, you’ll earn one point for every £5 you wage on Slots and for every £10 you bet on most other casino games. It’s a decent scheme, which helps improve our Grosvenor ratings.
One hundred points gets you £1. The more Play Points you earn, the higher your ranking will be. Gold Players get better rewards, and Black VIP Players get better rewards still.
The VIP Black Card is only available to players that meet certain requirements. Offers include exclusive bonuses, incentives, and invite-only events. VIP Black Users also receive a personal account manager and VIP Priority.
Grosvenor Sport, while not as large as other online sportsbook brands, has a notable presence in the industry. Launched in 2016, it’s a well-designed, easy-to-use interface for both desktop or mobile devices.
Bets are available for a vast array of sports, with a particular focus on horse betting. Over 40,000 betting markets are available, including thousands of horse racing betting markets in four continents.
Live in-play betting and consistent and exciting promotions all add something extra. Our Grosvenor reviews delve into the horse race betting on offer by Grosvenor.
At the time of writing our Grosvenor reviews, Grosvenor will double the odds on ANY sports bet you place as a Welcome Offer, at a maximum stake of £10, and your winnings will be paid out in cash. Of course, if your stake loses – you won’t receive anything, but this is still a fantastic offer, reflecting well on our Grosvenor ratings.
Grosvenor ratings for betting markets alone are through the roof with so many available options. Horse racing fans can find action on all kinds of races, from flat racing and jump racing to endurance, harness, quarter horse and beyond. Races from the UK, Ireland, the US, and international racetracks are available.
Grosvenor US races include Arlington Park, Churchill Downs, Monmouth Park and the Saratoga Race Course, among many more. However, Grosvenor US fans are excluded, given that no Grosvenor US app or website is currently available.
On top of excellent international coverage, our Grosvenor reviews also found many horse betting markets. From straight bets to quinellas, exactas, trifectas and superfectas, every major horse racing market is available on virtually every race. You’ll also find special horse betting markets, such as distance betting.
Grosvenor’s Sportsbook odds are reasonably competitive in relation to other big bookies, and the Grosvenor reviews reflect this benefit. Generally, some races and events have more competitive odds than others. Check our Best Horse Betting Odds page to get an idea of the odds on offer.
Most racing events feature both industry-standard odds, the Starting Point (SP) odds, as well as Grosvenor-specific Early Point odds (EP). EP odds tend to be more favorable than SP odds, with the latter mostly following the betting lines set by major bookies.
Grosvenor Sportsbook offers an extensive list of bets for plenty of races and events, where you can bet on just about anything. A minimum bet of £0.10 is required. Odds can be viewed on Grosvenor in US, decimal, or fractional format.
Stats of all events, with past performances, previous results, and other relevant data are supplied by BAGS. A Bet Calculator, as well as a Bet Builder, will come in handy and has a ‘cash out’ option available too.
Grosvenor does offer live in-play betting, but it’s still somewhat limited compared to other online sportsbooks and doesn’t get the best Grosvenor reviews. However, Grosvenor ratings for in-play betting options are excellent when it comes to their specialty, horse betting.
Our Grosvenor reviews found that major sports events, such as Football, Tennis, and Horse Racing, have the most coverage with around 30+ markets for Football alone.
In-Play betting is also offered for some niche sports like eSports, pool, and chess, however. You’ll find all of this in the “Live Right Now” section, which is super easy to navigate.
Grosvenor’s betting limits differ according to the sport/event being wagered on, although a minimum stake of £0.10 is required for most bets. Maximum bets and winnings vary on the same basis.
More prestigious horse tracks and races have a maximum win allowance of £250,000, while less popular races have a lower maximum win allowance of between £50,000 and £100,000.
Grosvenor Sports, although relatively new, has certainly made its mark in the industry. It offers an extensive list of available tracks, races, events, and markets. Much like Matchbook, Grosvenor offers a wide variety of products.
Competitive odds and a variety of bets are also noteworthy features. A classy and simple design makes it easy to place your favorite bets. Odds for horse race betting are particularly competitive.
Add to that the decent welcome offer, sizable stakes, and of course its Live and In-Play Betting, and there’s not much to complain about.
However, Grosvenor could improve on its selection of Live Streaming races, in order to give users greater variety for their favorite pastime. Unfortunately, it is much the same with competitors like JenningsBet and Ladbrokes who only offer live streaming on selected events.
We also can’t help but wish that there was a dedicated Grosvenor US website for Grosvenor US fans. Its absence seriously hampers our Grosvenor ratings and other Grosvenor reviews.

At Grosvenor, whether you’re a rookie, a pro, a newbie, a high roller, a cautious player, a sports enthusiast, a slot lover, or a table player – there’s a game for you. Its website is uncluttered and crisp, with easy-to-navigate sections and 24/7 online support. Licensed, regulated, and secured, you’ll sleep soundly at night knowing your funds, personal info, and account are all safe.
State-of-the-art software and industry knowledge give Grosvenor the advantage of bringing its already-established name to the virtual arena. With a variety of top-notch games that are second to none, this well-established operator leaves players with little to be desired. Although a broader range of live casino games wouldn’t hurt.
We’re also a tad disappointed that Grosvenor US players are restricted, as well as those from other countries. Other than that, it offers users a well-rounded experience, and we absolutely recommend this operator.
